TOMS | Vote Like You Mean It

TOMS partnered with Vote.org  -- a nonprofit that uses technology and research to increase voter turnout, simplify political engagement, and remove structural barriers to voting. Leading up to the election, TOMS.com hosted free digital tools that allowed the audience to check their registration, register to vote, request their ballot by mail, and sign up for election reminders.

As mentioned in: WWD / Yahoo / USA Today / Footwear News

Worked on: content strategy, graphic design, social strategy.

 #VoteReady

In an effort to engage young voters, I recruited TOMS team members to share their personal reasons for voting and to urge young voters to make their voices heard.

National Voter Registration Day

I brought the TOMS team front and center once again — leveraging the diverse backgrounds of employees and connecting it to corresponding statistics in a way that felt human and relevant. On IG Stories, employees delivered video messages in the corresponding languages — speaking directly to these stats. Translations:

Spanish: This year, Latinos are expected for the first time to be the nation’s largest ethic minority in an election for the U.S. president.

Korean: Asian Americans are the fastest-growing racial or ethnic group in the U.S. electorate.

Vietnamese: 23M+ immigrants will be eligible to vote in the 2020 election.

Arabic: 100M eligible Americans didn’t vote in 2016.
